About Shining Light School for Boys
My name is Roy Isenhart I accepted Christ as my personal Savior in May of 1986, at Bethesda Baptist Church in Wayne, WV. God called me to preach shortly after graduating High School in June of 1995. God has done many wonderful works in my life and I have seen God's grace applied many times.
I was married to my beautiful wife Susie on November 29th of 1997. Susie and I have always been active in our local church. Very early in our relationship we made a commitment to each other and to the Lord that we would do all we could do to serve and to make a difference in the lives of other people, particularly in lives of America's troubled youth.
We faithfully attend Walter's Grove Baptist Church in Lexington, NC. Our Pastor is Bro. Chris Simpson. We have helped in Bus ministry, Children's Church programs, Youth Camps, Youth meetings, Vacation Bible School and other various activities involving young people.
In January of 2001 God dealt with us about starting a school for Boys that would help boys 17 years old and younger. After much prayer the Lord gave us peace about starting Shining Light School for Boys which is a ministry of Walter's Grove Baptist Church.
We are confident that this is the will of God for our lives and have committed ourselves to the ministry. Since 2001 we have had the privilege of helping and being involved in the lives of nearly 50 young men from across the country. It is our hearts desire to help the troubled young men of this country. Please pray for us as we endeavor to be busy about the Lord's work and pray for Shining Light School for Boys.
